AT&T APN settings for Nexus 4 phone

I have got a LG Nexus 4 on AT&T. When I connect the phone to internet with default settings, everything loads slowly and the speeds are fairly poor. Downloading any apps or games from Google Play store gets around 3 to 5 Mbps. How can I fix the network issues?

It is caused by the APN settings. To get the best 3G data speeds on the phone, you need to change/edit the appropriate AT&T APN settings.
* Tap Menu, go to Settings > Wireless and Networks > Mobile Networks, and select "Access Point Names".
* Write the settings down for backing up if the new one is not working for you, and delete all APN's.
* Tap Menu > New APN, and enter the following settings. That work on many ROM's.
APN: phone
MMSC: http://mmsc.mobile.att.net
MMS Proxy: proxy.mobile.att.net
MMS port: 80
MCC:310
MNC:410
APN type: default,supl,mms,hipri
Then press save button, select it to use, and restart your Nexus 4.

After making the the new APN changes with at&t, I get the download speed with 8 to 15 Mbps.
