Set homepage in Chrome on Nexus 7

Similar to the desktop version of Chrome, its Android app improves the speed and brings "tab syncing" on the Nexus 7 tablet. I have been looking for a wholesale password manager, and I will use the new feature to sync passwords. Chrome runs fast for me, but I can't figure out how to set my favourite web page as the homepage?

Chrome on Nexus 7 is missing some important items: you can't set your home page and there is no home button to  return to your home page quickly. However, you can put your Android Bookmark widget for that page on your desktop. Just touch it and go to a home page.

  1. Absolutely ridiculous! Had I known this prior to purchase, I never would have bought it!

I will have to try Fire Fox or one of the other browsers I guess.
