Poor wifi performance with Nexus 7

There is really poor WiFi performance on Nexus 7. It has full signal while nearing the router. However, Wifi signal drops off abruptly and then is totally gone when I take away to my bedroom where my phone has got at least 75% strength.

I notes the WiFi signal strength is definitely at least 2 bars lower than my other devices. Nexus 7 doesn't disconnect from the wifi, but keep losing access to Internet. Streaming a movie from Netflix takes a long time for buffering. Connect to my office network also has the same issue. Hope Goolge fix the firmware issue soon.

  2. Yup - I have exactly the same problem. Think I may return it for a replacement.

  3. I bought two on Friday and I've noticed the same problem. My Dell laptops, my ROKO box, my iPod all get excellent reception from my bedroom. But when I sit down in my easy chair, the Nexus 7 drops the wifi signal. This makes the tablet completely useless. Both are going back on Monday to wait for the new iPad!!

  4. Mime won't connect to a good signal as well. It says avoided poor internet connection. While my windows phone is running very fast off of the same WiFi as I'm typing this. Please provide a link to a fix!
