How to copy/cut and paste text on Nexus 7

With the copy/cut and paste capability on Nexus 7 tablet, you can save valuable time while entering text. If you have not figured out how to copy or cut and paste text on your Nexus 7, try following the step by step tutorial:

* Double tapping on a word, like click using a mouse, or long press it. Then it will be highlighted with a menu bar at the top allowing you to cut, copy and paste.
* For a sentence or a paragraph, Double tapping it and it gives you two arrows to point up. Then drag the left arrow to the beginning of your selection, and drag the right arrow to the end.  Now you are able to copy/cut/paste the entire selection.

  1. Double tap activates zoom on the Nexus 7, copy and paste actually requires tap and hold.

  2. I'm also finding it doesn't copy paste from articles in NYT or any text in an app like Facebook.
