Does Nexus 7 have sim card slot

The google Nexus 7 is a low-priced quad-core Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) tablet. It comes with a 7" IPS LCD screen, 216 ppi and pixel dimensions of 1280 x 800. Does the Nexus 7 tablet have a sim card slot?

No, the first Nexus 7 doesn't include SIM card slot or GSM/CDMA technology. You need to use it to be in range of a WiFi hotspot for access to the internet. Google will release Nexus 7 II in 2013, which might have a rear camera, SD card reader and SIM card slot.

  8. I'm a supplier of tabs and computers and when i displayed the nexus 7 overseas in an oil servicing coy and they placed an order for 300tablets but cancelled it when they found out it lacks a sim card slot. I eventually supplied them with the galaxy tab.
